I could never write poetry, yet I took so many poetry classes in university (they were requirements though). I have no creativity at all. But I can make delicious sweets:)) I like your nice way of writing. Following you from Trapani, Sicily!
haha, dove, you don't have to be so nice to me all the time... we both know that i look retarded on the photo. haha :) anyways! missed your posts! and i'm sorry, haven't been here for awhile. hope everything's great.
Simran, Thanks for the nice comment <3 saraht, I think I know what you mean bt I dont want to seem stupid so i'll leave it at that :D Ciccia, im sure you can write poetry. I started by taking the advice of a blogger last june and starting a journal, something I never did before. Before long I had a couple of them and many scraps of paper, well actually a pile of printed out things. I remember being sure I was an idiot ( which I still may be) but as time went on through a few horrible spells of giving up poetry writing for ever ( that lasted from a day to a week), I finally got a little confidence. If I put some of my early poems up im sure people would run for the hills...its amazing they dont now but even I admit they are better than when I started. OK, im sure anon will come back and insult me if I keep this up so , thanks for commenting and I love sicily <3 roseanna2u, i will answer your email soon I promise. Thx for the nice comment wow! haze, I wasnt just being nice. I hate photos of myself, but will admit some look better than others. The ones you put up you look pretty in, that's just reality ...deal :) Vicki, thanks for stopping by. I read on your blog that you have cats. I think they are great therapy and my two cats are like therapists to me :) Martina, what a nice surprise, and thx for the nice comment. <3 anna Sergi, hi, and thanks,I just realized your blog name and maybe that was in my subconcious when i thought of the title for this :)
hi zoned, Ive had that happen a lot especially in the summer. Those are just fireflies and were too groggy to remember them buzzing around , landing on our skin and tickling us silly. The next day we think it was a dream but its just fireflies, that's all. ( he said confounded by such uncertainty that he had become defensively certain about EVERYTHING) :))
Hi nicole, thanks :) zoned, I'm sure it was a cool dream. I was just kidding around, poking fun at a know it all and severe doubting thomas I ran into yesterday. I hope you didn't mind me doing that with your comment, it had nothing to do with you so I wanted to explain that here. Just me taking out my frustrations ... sorry about that but I tried to make that a little clear but shouldnt have done that I think now... :) I really like dreams and daydreams too... (Lyrics from lovin spoonful 'what a day for a daydream') "I’m blowin’ the day to take a walk in the sun And fall on my face on somebody's new mowed lawn"
The Dreamer, your site is a dream come true <3
Alcina, Thanks, I love the way you used 'solmnolence' in your last poem, and am on my way back to your blog now :)
Oh Rivercat, I didn't think it was negative at all. I just wanted to emphasize how big and incredible it was. Even though it happened when I was on the east coast..it happened this past January and there aren't any fireflies in January. But I love fireflies, because I don't ever get to see them in California. So when I go back east I always catch a jar of them to look at for a little while. Chasing them is fun, but having them land on me while sleeping...that would tickle my funny bone;~)
I lived on long island we called them lightning bugs, I remember how much fun they were as a kid. They are truly MAGICAL BUGS!!! Somethings just stick with you into adulthood, and fireflies are a big one. I also think they are amazing as far as the bioluminescenc involved and the use of their chemicals in medicine. :)

pbb, that is a very perceptive interpretation!
I had a blue-violet fireball dance around me in a dream and it made me giggle. It tickled my heart;~)

I love how you dreamed that up:~) However my firelight was much bigger than a firefly...I'm almost certain. Sweet dreams♥
This is exquisitely lovely.
Stunned!!

One of your best - few words, a lot of meaning.
