The Heather Mist

like a butterfly airily tiptoes
over petals from a fallen rose

my beloved's name walks gently across my lips
transposed into shimmering echoes of forever

This is so lovely... it's sweet as nectar.

thanks , your words are appreciated :)

the fear of writng something like this is that it seems commonplace and feeble
i just wanted to make a simple love poem

ps i keep changing this thing but hoping its done now,..i dont know if that happens to you.

I barely have time to write it the first time. If I had more time to ponder I would rewrite and play with the words more. It's always interesting, the many different ways to put something together.

i have this now also as the repitition of the name by the person in the poem creating the mist...a repeating poem after the original one starting on line#1 and not the title as in the repetitions of the poem ...do you get what i mean bt that? does that make sense?

sometimes i have time sometimes not

stargirl,
you seem upset.
i dont know who you are
or what youre talking about.
If you have my email ( or if you want to do this here ok!)tell
me in english what youre
talking about and your
wishes will be respected and granted
all i ask is that you let me know who you are
and in normal english and what you want me to do
its a free country and all (relatively) but unlike some people i like to talk things out rationally and if you are feeling bad about something im sure i can help because i am coniderate of peoples
feelings.
thanks!
PS- you never posted a dedication to me
but thats ok
PPS-i thought your name was kellan
if its heather i did NOT know that...
there is a bush named heather in case you didnt know but i will change the name to somethng
else if you are offended and that is your name????
If you dont talk like a normal person to me i cant know what you are taking about! Is that what youre
soangry about?????????????????????????????????????

I always thought it was the flower and you are the flower.
I also think "stop." doesn't necessarily mean mad, unless you guys have a history. It could just mean it's so sweet, I'm melting. I don't know.
"stop!!!!!" means mad to me.

rivercat said...

yes of courseits the flower but people have differentinterpretations..and i will bend over backwards if somebodys feeling are hurt .....well i changed the title just in case that is her real name and she thinks im stalking her.
zonedin, there is a history, of about 3 days and it went from her saying she was my stargirl and promising me a dedication post to her putting up a giant stop sign picture and blocking me from her site and giving me the worst silent treatment ive ever gotten.
Out of respect for her as a lady i wont go further into any details...

stargirl,
I see were back to the silent treatment, fine.
I will give you all the space you need because I still love you, despite the heartbreak you caused me. No, im not asking you to let me in your blog again, and Im not asking for anything but normal behavior if you decide to post in my blog, not just dropping a pain inducing word which literally stopped my heart...That stop sign will haunt me for the rest of my life now.
How you tell someone to leave you alone is equally as important as getting your desired result. Its called being polite and curteous and people act that way for a reason, because nobody likes to get thier feelings hurt anymore than they have to.
About stargirl the book, well i DID in fact read it. Stargirl was very cool, leo was kind of luke warm but ok... that is what teenage relationships are often like. I think spinelli may have experienced it himself. The chick is often 10 times more emotionally evolved than the teenage boy at that point who usually has to get drunk to even begin to make sense..and at that point hes not really making sense anyhow lol!. back to stargirl. Maybe you should re read that book. There are a few people that are really like that but most of us will never meet one. At first I thought you were like her... to tell you the truth my heart was broken twice.
So you dumped me, i will live, but please the next time you are mad about something just tell me in a sentence or two, and you dont have to be nasty either. I don't know if you can ever think of me as a friend instead of someone staking you for eternity, but i leave that up to you...and I beg of you please do not come up with some grande scheme to destroy me! I really dont know if i could handle that now that the stop sign image has been burned into my soul again.
If youd like me to stop something, please write a few sentences, and calmly we shall go over them and come to some ultimate agreement. I may be hurt, but at least I will be able to think straight without feeling like my entire world has been turned black forever void of hope and in the depths of a massive depression.

I think the poem is beautiful.

I think discussing things is better than silence. Too much can be misinterpreted from silence. Words can be misinterpreted, but at least you might be getting closer to understanding than silence.

However, I have had issues dealing with barbarians and unreasonable people, so in that case maybe silence is better.

Good luck with all that you two.

I like the saying..."At least a stalker is always there for you." But I can take it lightly, because things like that don't scare me.

@Abbey
thanks. I visited your site an noticed is isnt on a blogger site like this so i wont follow it like these but i'll try to visit now and then.
I like the piano song the lyrics are great. This is only the second love poem i ever wrote all by myself so a compliment from you means a lot to me.

Hi zonedin,

I dedideed to change the title back to original, "The Heather Mist", without the asterik and explanation.
It didnt seem right that on my blog I should change something unless the person comes and talks to me artist to artist. This is my poem,
and before I change it I want to know why without the guessing and mind reading. So, that is my policy from now on regardless of whether i know the person or not.

zonedin said...

That seems fair to me. Keep writing;~)

zonedin said...

You changed the title again. Wasn't this the first one?

Feels deep and touches a cord, especially whereas the emotional heart is concerned, whilst at the same time feels like a celebration of love in all of the universe. Thank you :)

Hey Rob. I feel like I should post something here, although I will admit that THIS heather, the one and only who is also misspacman08 and the Heather from Writing Raindrops, has never before been to your blog, or to this post. I do not know who your 'stargirl' is, but I would also like to reinforce that I no longer have ANY other blogs publicized online, and if you catch anyone ever trying to pretend they are me (in any sense of that statement) to inform me immediately, as I really hate the idea of somehow hurting a complete stranger without ever saying a word or lifting a finger.

I really hope things get better for you.

-Heather Maria.

Heather-Maria said...

Oh and if you would like to change the title back, even though in the end it had very little to do with me, I wouldnt mind :)

rivercat said...

Things have gotten better now that I have figured out what has happened... thanks to you.
FWIW, she is not my stargirl, and in fact she is nothing like Stargirl ( the book) at all..she has a vendetta against me and is giving me the silent treatment except for the word "stop" which she posts from time to time whenever I regain my composure from the previous incident. Now I know its just an identity game, so it wont affect me as negatively as it has in the past.

PS= I appreciate that you understood the situation with such clarity and went out of your way to help a stranger. I do visit your blog and really enjoy reading your posts. Your stories both mesmerize and enamor and i look forward to the new posts you make. I went to your blog originally because I thought It would help me write and it has...and that's why i posted in your journal post because I thought it was a good place to start.I decided to make some journals and write some poetry raher than making a bunch of comment on your other posts but they are all very interesting.
Oh well, thanks is all trying to say and ive learned that when you start repeating yourself, that probably a good time to take a break from commenting :)

rivercat said...

Yes, thanks Im going to change it back!

Any way you slice it, "The Apple Rose" isn't nearly as pretty sounding as "The Heather Mist" :)

rivercat said...

@ana,
amongst all the confusion I forgot to say thank you for the lovely comment you added , thanks!! :)

I wish the different types of blogs were more connected via the dashboard thing so I could see your blogs new posts show up on my list
